LaDonna Ruth Hohmann McConnell was born December 17, 1931 in Lone Wof, Oklahoma to Lydis Schreiner Hohmann and Emil Hohmann. LaDonna passed away February 2, 2010 at Golden Plains Care Center in Post, Texas at 78 years of age. LaDonna was a member of the St Paul Lutheran Church in Wilson, Texas. Preceeding her in death werer her parents, her husband and in June 2009 her youngest daughter Candace McConnell Boling. Candy and her husband Shelby took such good care of LaDonna for so many years they were right there to help her and even lived with them until she needed to go to a Nursing Care Center. She was also preceded in death by a younger sister Carla Cessna. LaDonna was laid to rest beside her husband Lloyd at the Lone Wolf Cemetery.
LaDonna will be remembered by many people. She was a very large part of our family for a long time. LaDonna worked with Lloyd in his political campains he was involved in and had other causes of her own that she help with. She also played the piano so beautiful and at one time taught lessons in her home. She played at the Nursing Home as well. They really got a kick out of her and anyone who every knew LaDonna would never forget her. She will be missed. She had two grandkids and one great grandchild.
